A qualification in B. Com bank management from the SA College of Arts & Science includes a detailed examination of the workings of banks (and related deposit-taking financial intermediaries) in the context of the banking system in particular, and the financial system generally. The students will learn how to analyse the activities, roles, and regulations of commercial and investment banks. Department Overview

The department aim is to provide students with a broad overview of the key concepts, tools and techniques of today’s dynamic banking environment. This programme is aimed at escalating the potential of the student to match the needs of the current Banking and Financial Sector (BFS). Well-designed academics combined with live projects, corporate interaction and affiliation to professional societies provide the winning edge to the aspirants to start a fulfilling career. This is further strengthened through student centric industry aligned value added courses and soft skill training. MoU’s with leading banks to start incubation centres to give practical exposure to students either is in the pipeline.
