INTERNATIONAL FIELD VISIT TO PALLAVARAM SANDHAI & ONE DAY INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON RURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP on 2.2.2024

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research Chennai (NITTTR) International Field Visit to Pallavaram Sandhai & One Day International Seminar on Rural Entrepreneurship

  1. A. College of Arts & Science conducted an “International Field Visit to Pallavaram Sandhai” in the forenoon session and a One Day International Seminar on “Rural Entrepreneurship” in the afternoon session on 2nd February 2024 at SACAS between 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and  hosted by NITTTR. 

The international participants (10 members from different countries), faculty members of NITTTR, and 30 P.G. students from S.A. College of Arts & Science attended.

     The following resource persons provided their valuable insights for this international seminar and international field visit observation

  1. Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, Principal, S. A. College of Arts & Science, spoke on the topic “Harvesting Success: Exploring Recent Trends in Rural Entrepreneurship”.
  2. Dr. K.S. Giridharan, Professor & Head – Centre for Rural and Entrepreneurship Development, NITTTR, Chennai.
  3. D. M. Anilkumar, Associate Professor, Centre for Rural and Entrepreneurship Development, NITTTR, Chennai.
  4. Dr. P. Jakulin Divya Mary, Assistant Professor, Centre for Rural and Entrepreneurship Development, NITTTR, Chennai.

     In this session, a total of 10 international candidates, staff from NITTTR, and 30 PG students form S.A.College attended this practical session.They Explored Local market,Direct marketing Concept, Personal selling, etc., In the Field session students were helped for foreign delegates to purchasing Indian local Products in the market. Students were actively  participated and making it a successful event.
