Department Overview
The world of media has reached its boom currently and offers several platforms for talent exposure across the globe. The visual media is the most sort of the one and opens up newer opportunities each passing day, thanks to the pervasion of technology. To make the journey of a creator complete this course offers knowledge about the use of visual elements to convey ideas and information. The students are urged to don their creative thinking hat, in keeping with industry norms.

To introduce the students to adopt the 360-degree approach in pursuing their passion with creativity and uniqueness.
Mission
To impart moral and ethical values to students in the world of media. To stay tuned with the changing trends in the industry using technology for lifelong learning. To foster the development of communication skills as an integral component of the profession. To provide interesting learning experiences for students through brainstorming.
Objectives
To utilize trending software to learn, imbibe and implement in designing various artworks. To help students apply visualization techniques in their communication. To handhold, students to represent their ideas based on integrating content categories, attributes, and communication to the desired audience.
Programme Outcomes (PO’s)
After completion of the programme, the graduates will be able to
Understand the basics of visual communication and various media platforms. Gain professional skills, life skills, media literacy, and digital competency. Perform media works based on the needs and standards of the media industry. Enhance leadership qualities, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. Become professionally competent and socially responsible in performing media tasks.
Programme Specific Outcome (PSO’s):
Students can acquire knowledge and skill about drawing, color, aesthetics, design, layout, and creativity through state-of-the-art software training. Gain in-depth knowledge on pre-production, production, and post-production process in Film Making. A better insight into the field of photography, 3D Modeling and Animation, Web Designing, and AV production. Students will be able to comprehend media content and interpret it. They will be able to comprehend advertisements and strategies according to the market needs. Create communicative materials that incorporate communication theory, audience analysis and explain the significance of major moments in communication and media history
