Red Ribbon Club Organizes Anti-Drug Awareness Program at SACAS.

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) at S.A. College of Arts & Science organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Program titled “Truth About Drugs: Don’t Do Drugs, Don’t Be a Slave to Chemicals” on 20th August 2025 at the SACAS Auditorium. The event aimed to educate students and the community about the dangers of drug abuse and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

The session featured Ms. D. Subashini, Inspector, and Ms. M. Bhuvaneswari, Sub-Inspector from Poonamallee, who shared real-life experiences and highlighted the harmful effects of drugs on health, mind, and society. They also addressed common myths related to substance abuse.

The program focused on informed decision-making, personal responsibility, and the importance of saying NO to drugs. It inspired students to lead meaningful lives by making better choices. The event successfully raised awareness, encouraged open discussion, and motivated youth to build a drug-free future, spreading the message that every choice matters and life is too precious to waste.
