Vision

To create a vibrant research ecosystem that promotes academic excellence, innovation, and ethical inquiry, empowering faculty and students to engage in research that contributes to knowledge advancement, societal progress, and national development. SACAS R&D envisions becoming a hub of intellectual exploration and interdisciplinary collaboration, in line with the college’s commitment to quality education and social responsibility.

Mission

The mission of the Centre for Research and Development is to promote a vibrant research culture by encouraging faculty and students to pursue innovative and socially relevant research. It aims to integrate research into academics, uphold ethical standards, and ensure compliance with UGC and university guidelines. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and resource support, the Centre strives to contribute to academic excellence, societal development, and national progress.

Objectives

  • To promote a research culture among faculty and students across all disciplines.
  • To encourage quality publications as books, book chapters, peer-reviewed and Scopus, UGC CARE, ABDC, Web of Science and SCI indexed journals among faculties and students.
  • To support faculty for preparing and filing of patents, and securing research grants from UGC, ICSSR, DST, and other funding agencies.
  • To facilitate interdisciplinary and collaborative research with academic institutions, industries, and NGOs.

  • To organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance research skills and awareness.
