    Roles And Responsibilities

    Internal Assessment Tests

    • Preparation of Time Table as per the Academic Calendar.
    • Collect two sets of question papers with keys (for quantitative papers).
    • Prepare seating plan, invigilation duty list and attendance sheets.
    • Examination members must segregate the question papers hall-wise and keep ready the answer booklets.
    • Ensure that marks are entered in ERP within 2 days after the completion of the respective subject test.
    • Prepare the Result Analysis of the College within 3 days after the completion of the assessment test.

    University Examination

    • Display time table and prepare day-wise strength, number of halls, number of external, internal and invigilator requirements.
    • Hall seating arrangements and instructions to students and invigilators in each exam hall to be displayed.
    • Prepare seating plan, invigilation duty list and attendance sheets.
    • Maintenance of question paper opening and dispatch file, stock register for answer scripts, packing covers and stationery items.
    • Form a committee (minimum 3 members with Convener as a senior member) to conduct enquiries in case of malpractice and submit the report to the Principal and Management for final decision.
    • Collect answer scripts from the invigilators.
    • Settlement of accounts to University of Madras.

    Practical Examination

    • Intimation of Practical Slot to the concerned departments, collecting practical proforma.
    • Display time table and prepare day-wise strength, number of labs to be used.
    • Collecting attendance sheets, answer scripts, mark statements and claim forms.
    • Ensuring Practical Exam mark entry in IMES University portal for all practical subjects and submitting the attendance sheets and mark statements to the university before the due date.
    • Practical examination External Examiner confirmation (Copy to Reporting College) and order Distribution.

  • To ensure students are regular and are punctual to class.
  • To Monitor whether the food are available on time.
  • To report on water availability issues if any.
  • To Monitor and keep feedback on cleanliness of rooms and toilets
  • To report on Students and Staffs joining and leaving.
  • To ensure Students take permissions when they go out and comeback into the hostel.
