Studying B. A. English at SACAS involves the inculcation of sophisticated reading skills and to improve an ability to place literary texts in their wider intellectual and historical contexts. The Department of English trains you in English Language, Literature and Linguistics.

Established in 2019 alongside the college itself, the Department of English at SACAS fosters a love for the English language and its vast literary landscape.

To provide quality-based language training at the foundation level,To create a literary culture and pave the way for academic research, To help students think critically by nurturing their LSRW skills.
