International Workshop on Advanced Computing and AI Held at SACAS On December 13, 2024, the Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence at S.A. College of Arts & Science hosted an international workshop titled Leveraging Intel Technologies for Advanced Computing and AI. The event brought together experts and students to delve into cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and computing.

Keynote speaker Akshay Bhuvaneshwari Ramakrishna, Intel Innovator and Research Collaborator at LCICM Hopkins Medicine, shared insights on Intel’s technologies, including the Intel Developer Cloud and oneAPI programming model, which streamline AI development. Participants gained hands-on experience with AI tools and explored their applications in healthcare, finance, and sports.

The workshop also highlighted innovations in generative AI, such as stable diffusion and large language models, showcasing AI’s transformative potential across industries.
