Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration at SACAS 11th January 2025

The Department of Computer Science with AI, S. A. College of Arts & Science, hosted a celebration of Vivekananda Jayanti at the college grounds, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Indian Knowledge System (IKS).

The event began at 7:30 a.m. with an inaugural ceremony where dignitaries from Nehru Yuva Kendra, senior professors, and the institution’s Principal and Director honored Swami Vivekananda with a flower-pouring tribute.

An oath-taking ceremony followed, where students and faculty pledged to uphold Swami Vivekananda’s values of courage, compassion, and societal betterment. The program highlighted the revitalization of IKS and its role in building a sustainable future, emphasizing SDGs 4 and 11.4.

The event concluded with active participation from all, serving as an inspiring reminder of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and their relevance today.
