SACAS Commerce – Computer Application Students Form Human Chain for Gender Equality Chennai, July 3, 2025 – In a powerful display of unity and awareness, the Department of Commerce Computer Application at S. A. College of Arts & Science organised a Human Chain for Gender Equality on Thursday morning. Held from 8:15 to 9:30 AM on the college campus road, the event drew enthusiastic participation from students and faculty. The participants formed a long human chain, proudly holding vibrant placards with messages like “Gender Equality = Human Equality” and “Break Stereotypes, Build Respect.”

Short speeches were delivered by faculty and students, emphasising that gender equality benefits the entire society. They highlighted the need to change perceptions rather than women themselves.

The event concluded with a pledge for equality, uniting everyone in the commitment to fairness and mutual respect.
