The Industrial Visit organized by S.A. College of Arts & Science, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce (Bank Management), took place at Simpson & Company Limited, Huzur Garden, Sembium, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600011, on 19th February (Wednesday) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

During the visit, students were introduced to the operations of Simpson & Company Limited, a well-established organization known for its manufacturing and engineering services. The company provided an insightful tour of its facilities, showcasing the various stages of production and their role in the industry. Students had the opportunity to interact with professionals, gaining valuable insights into the practical applications of their academic studies in the fields of commerce and management. The industrial visit proved to be a great learning experience, allowing students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world business operations.

Mr. J. Krishnaswamy, Executive HR, gave an introduction to the company, sharing its history and the various amalgamations of Simpson & Co. Ltd. Mr. N. Sirajudeen, Deputy Manager, provided safety instructions. A total of 45 students, along with two faculty coordinators, Dr. M. Neelabai, Assistant Professor, and Mr. T. Baladhandayudham, Assistant Professor, participated in and benefited from the visit.
