DEPARTMENT OF B. COM ACCOUNTING & FINANCE“PIONEERS & PROFESSIONALS – ALUMNI INSIGHTS: SESSION 3”

In collaboration with the SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals, the Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) arranged a successful meet of Pioneers & Professionals – Alumni Insights: Session 3 on Friday, 22nd August 2025, between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a. m. at the TF 23.

This session was targeted to fill this gap between the academic curriculum and the professional practice by filing the information gap between the successful alumni of schools and those who are current students. The guest of honor on the day was one of the most prominent alumni of the department MR.VISHVA & MR.AJAY KUMAR, ENTREPRENEUR, who motivated students with a glimpse of her personal as well as professional life.

They addressed approximately the same topic in their speech because they followed the example of students entering the corporate world after student life with its challenges and some issues that I have to face. She said that it is important to be adaptable, have a never-ending learning experience, and possess a good knowledge of accounting and finance rules and regulations.

The session proved to be very interactive and students engaged well with the speaker asking lots of questions and even having a discussion on the issue. Ms. The grounded experiences and pieces of advice given by Sreemathi gave insights and inspiration to students as they embark on their journeys of making their own career paths.

The session successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world professional practice, offering students valuable exposure to industry expectations and career readiness
