Our SACAS’s top women weightlifter, University & C.M. Trophy Gold medalist, R.V. Oviya from 1st B.Sc. NFSM&D, has been selected to represent the University of Madras Women Weightlifting team in the 45 kg category. She will participate in the All India University South West Zone Women Weightlifting Championship 2024, which will be held at Acharya Nagarjuna University, New Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, from November 25th to 29th, 2024.

With the blessings of our college’s honorable Correspondent Sir, our beloved Director Ma’am, and our beloved Principal Ma’am, I am happy to announce that they have congratulated and honored us by putting a shawl on her and giving us our college T-shirt with lower wear.
