Department of CS with AI successfully organized an awareness program for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. The event featured group discussions among students from various departments, addressing critical issues. Key topics included the role of labor organizations, sexual exploitation, the plight of child laborers, and the kidnapping of female children through fake advertisements and abuse. Discussions also focused on creating awareness through child protection initiatives, the Right to Education (RTE), NGO schemes, and mental health awareness. The program aimed to foster a meaningful understanding of these complex issues among participants. Finally, a powerful resolution was adopted, emphasizing that childhood is a right, not a privilege, and highlighting the importance of education and basic healthcare. All participants pledged to support the formation and activities of the Blue Heart Society, committing to translate this resolution into tangible actions beyond the event.
