SACAS & IOC Partner for “Vigilance Awareness Cyclothon”*
The National Service Scheme (NSS) of S. A. College of Arts & Science joined hands with the Indian Oil Corporation to organize the “Vigilance Awareness Cyclothon.” On October 28, 2023, at 6:30 a.m., the event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 100 students who embarked on a 12-kilometer ride from the college campus to Avadi Lake Park.
The cyclothon had a profound objective – to raise awareness about Vigilance Awareness Week and deliver a powerful message to the community. Students displayed their enthusiasm and commitment throughout the event. The session was inaugurated with a Pledge against corruption. The day commemorated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, the Principal of SACAS and Dr. D. Suresh Kumar, GM – Vigilance of IOC, along with the IOC team, waved the flag to kick off the event.
The occasion’s success was made possible with the invaluable support and guidance of the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja and Director Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi.
