A Farmer shakes hand with nature to keep the world out of hunger. The Rotaract Club of SA College of Arts and Science, Sponsored by Rotary club of Ambattur visited FARMGURU (trip to agritech centre) on 27th August 2022.

Rtn. M. Sesha Sai explained about organic farming and guided us to do farming practically by sowing, ploughing etc. Also explained four major problems in organic farming with its solution.

  1. Water – Drip irrigation
  2. Weeding – SRI
  3. Fertilizer – Cow dung cake
  4. Pesticides – Neam oil mixed with water.

It feels good at the end of the day to know that you have created a product that other people are going to enjoy. It was so informative trip.
