Birasmunda International Film Awards jointly organised the BIFA

The Department of Visual Communication of SA College of Arts and Science and Birasmunda International Film Awards jointly organised the BIFA July Month’s Grand Screening at the preview theatre of SACAS from 10 am to 4 pm. Mr. Sarkunam, director of Kalavani, and Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Mr.Vignesh Raja director of Por Thozhil, Mr.Sridhar, cinematographer of movies including Aayirathil Ouvan, Mayakkan Enna, Irandam Ulagam, Pariyerum Perumal, Kazhuvethi Moorkkan were the guests of honour.
13 short films from the regional, national, and international categories were screened.

Through your eyes by Alessandro Montiel (Canada), The world has an end by Mudasir Zafar Batt (India), Revolution X by Matthew Philip Cannon (UK), Dojo by Armin Alic (USA), A Dark Life by Anill Routh (India), I Am Not Down by Jyoti Madnani Singh (India), The Relapse by Naren Singh Nayak (India), Blue Paper Cranes by Wenjing LI (China), Speculum by Milena Adrianna Hübscher (USA), Saathi Varuthu by Ramesh Kannan (India), Farewell to myself by Shixiong Luo (China), Zonderwater by Jonathan Soverchia (Italy), and Emergency Call by Carmelo Rosario Ramos (Puerto Rico) were the movies which were screened. Dr. R Srinivasan, head of the Department of Visual Communication presided over the inaugural function. More than 15 external delegates attended these special screenings.
