A workshop on  “Mastering Your Thoughts”  on 9.2.2024

On February 2nd, 2024, Friday, the Department of Central Library conducted a workshop on  “Mastering Your Thoughts” at SACAS AUDITORIUM. Mr. A T Rajkumar, a distinguished Writer, Civil Engineer, and Entrepreneur, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He engaged the students in an interactive session, imparting valuable insights on maintaining a calm mind in the face of negativity, emotional turbulence, fear, and anxiety.

During the workshop, Mr. Rajkumar shared a variety of mind techniques aimed at combating stress and eliminating unnecessary thoughts. The primary audience, consisting of 145 students from the 1st year of B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, B.Sc CS AI, B.A English, and faculty members, actively participated in the session, making it akin to a dynamic discussion forum.

The discussion cantered on key concepts such as purpose, acceptance, planning, success, failure, passion, and overthinking. Philosophical themes were also explored, with emphasis on the idea that “Acceptance is the greatest solution to all problems. Live in the present, and refrain from dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.” The engaging atmosphere fostered a rich exchange of ideas and experiences among the participants.
