SACAS Hosts Insightful Guest Lecture on VFX & AI TRENDS The Department of Visual Communication at S.A. College of Arts & Science organized a compelling guest lecture titled “VISUAL FUTURE: VFX & AI TRENDS UNVEILED” at 10:00 AM in the SACAS Theatre. Dr. R. Srinivasan inaugurated the session and introduced the esteemed speaker, Mr. John Stalin, a show supervisor at Phantom FX. Mr. John Stalin’s lecture, part of SACAS’s newly launched AVGC Club, explored the history, science, and modern techniques of Visual Effects (VFX). Topics covered included digital sculpting, green screen technology, and real-time VFX using Unreal Engine. His insights provided valuable knowledge to students specializing in CG, VFX, and 2D/3D design.
