SACAS Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Enthusiasm On August 15, 2024, S.A. College of Arts & Science celebrated the 78th Independence Day with the theme “Viksit Bharat,” focusing on transforming India into a developed nation. The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, led by the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. Sayi Satyavathi, Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar and Dr. S. Ganapathy, HoD of Corp. Sec. The celebration featured a special address by the Director and the Principal, and included a vibrant parade and cultural programmes. Highlights included a Silambam performance by state and district-level sports players, creating an energetic and patriotic atmosphere. The performances underscored the event’s celebratory spirit and the theme of national development, engaging attendees in a festive and inspiring Independence Day celebration.
