Inauguration of Literary Association ‘The Renaissance’ & Book Release of “Pages of Joy” at S. A. College of Arts & Science, Chennai The Department of English of SACAS celebrated the inauguration of its literary association, ‘The Renaissance’, the release of the book “Pages of Joy” with an ISBN written by the English Faculty Members, an Orientation Programme and Fresher’s Fiesta 2K24. The event featured Dr. J. Jayachandran, Associate Professor of Anna University Kanchipuram Campus, as the chief guest.

The programme began at 10 a.m. in the SACAS Preview Theatre. Dr. S. Ganapathy, Head of Corp. Sec. and Mr. P. Chandrasekar, Head of Comp. Sci. & App. inaugurated ‘The Renaissance’. Mr. S. Deepan, Asst. Prof., shared the journey behind “Pages of Joy”. Dr. Jayachandran released the book and led an interactive Orientation Programme. Mr. S. Naresh, gave a closing remark. Mr. Thanga Kumaran M., Head of English expressed the pride in the achievement and thanked the gathering. 

The Fresher’s Fiesta showcased talents and included games organized by senior students. The events were coordinated by Ms. S. Vaishnavi, the President of The Renaissance and her team.
