Faculty Development Program on Continuous Professional Development Held at SACAS*

The Department of Psychology, led by Head and Assistant Professor Dr. Anuja and team, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Continuous Professional Development at S.A. College of Arts and Science (SACAS) on 10th August  The program aimed to empower educators with innovative strategies, best practices, and cutting-edge techniques to enhance their teaching skills and stay updated with industry trends. Renowned experts in the field, Dr. Prabhu Shankar, Associate Professor, Department of Education, and Dr. Carol, Controller of Examinations, SDNB Vaishnav College, shared their insights and expertise with the participants. The FDP focused on upskilling and reskilling for academic excellence, integrating technology for effective teaching, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and enhancing student engagement and outcomes. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators across disciplines, who engaged in meaningful discussions, workshops, and sessions. Department of Psychology  and IQAC emphasized the importance of continuous professional development in shaping the future of education. The program concluded with a renewed commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
