The Central Library is organizing a User Induction cum Information Literacy Programme for our first-year students on Wednesday, 24th July 2024, with two sessions planned. This programme aims to familiarize new students with the extensive resources and services available at our library and to equip them with essential information literacy skills.In the first session, Dr. T. Senthil Kumar, M.Lis., M.Phil., Ph.D., Librarian at Guru Nanak College, Chennai, will discuss how to access the college library’s resources, the scope and job opportunities available after completing their degree, and how to prepare for competitive exams using library resources.The second session will feature Dr. Srilakshmi, M.Lis., M.Phil., Ph.D., Librarian at Sir Theagaraya College (Govt. Aided), Chennai, who will also share her insights on these topics based on her experience.We look forward to your participation in this enriching programme.
