The Department of Psychology will organize a field visit to the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) on 18.12.24. The visit will aim to provide participants with practical exposure to the facilities, services, and interventions offered for individuals with multiple disabilities. NIEPMD is a pioneering organization dedicated to the empowerment and inclusion of individuals with disabilities through education, rehabilitation, and skill development.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact with counsellors, therapists, and educators to understand the challenges and strategies involved in working with individuals with disabilities. Beneficiaries will share their experiences, which will highlight the impact of NIEPMD’s interventions on their lives. The field visit is expected to be an enlightening experience for all participants.
