“Design with Me”

The Rotaract Club of SACAS Conducted the workshop on “Design with Me " for Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors. The session was handled by Rtr IPP S. Udayppan and Rtr Mithresh Kumar. Around 40+ students attended the session on 14th February 2023 from 02:00 pm to 04:00 p.m.

The session highlighted designing skills like colour selection, template selection, font style, and overall aesthetic look designs. Students had a hands-on session on Canva, Illustrator, and Photoshop. During the session rotaractors designed thank notes for Rtr IPP S. Udayppan for Design with Me workshop


SACAS Cafetearea

Happiness is eating food with friends, We had a pot lunch with our Club Rotaracters and other club Rotaracters to have fellowship, bond and relationship with other's on 4th febrarury 2023 in SACAS Cafetearea. The main aim was to become extrovert from being introvert . And gain confidence by themselves a active participation and have volunteer involvement and apart from this  Rotaracters and board members all enjoyed today event and they spread  love by sharing there food. Had a chance to explore themselves. Rtn David sir , secretary of rotary club of Ambattur was made this event even more special with his presence.Around 50 rotaractors were participated.


VEYILODA VILAYADI

The Rotaract club of SA college of arts and science organised VEYILODA VILAYADI as club service project in college canteen on 25th January 2023 to our green rotaractors.We conducted many games to make them feel comfortable and blend with us.we enjoyed alot and created unforgatable memory.The conducted games were

  • Lemon in the spoon
  • 1 minute 
  • Bun eating
  • Water filling

 


KHUSHEE

Spread happiness everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.the Rotaract Club of SA College of arts and science in associated with Inner wheel club of Chennai coral presented KHUSHEE on 24th January 2023 at preview theatre.We conducted games to our teaching staffs and made them feel like kids. The session was great with our teachers. We had a unique day where we got to be with all the other non teaching faculties in our college and got to share very happy moments together with them. We got to experience the joy in spreading happiness to others and seeing their faces light up with their smile. The time that we had, where we had let our sorrows go away, and indulged ourselves in fun and happiness was very memorable.

  • Sing with me
  • Proverb games

At the end of the session we presented sapplings to every departments out of love.


” The Impact of Social media on Youngsters “

The title for the awareness program is " The Impact of Social media on Youngsters". The theme of the program was to create an awareness among the School students regarding the impact, incidents and effects of using the social media. Five teams were sent to five different schools, 

  • RMK Senior Secondary School,Thiruverkadu, 
  • Sudharsanam Vidhyashram CBSC,
  • St. Joseph's Matriculation Higher Secondary School,
  • Joseph Vidhya Kshetra CBSC School, Poonamallee and
  • T.V. Nagar School, Ambattur

 on 11. 01.23 and 20.01.23 at different time schedules. The main reason for conducting the project to make the students understand the effects of usage of social media and the importance to use it wisely.The project outcome was good and a positive feedback was given for the hard work exhibited by the students.


READY STEADY GROW

Do  not go where the path may lead,go instead there is no path and leaves the trail .The Rotaract club of SA College of arts and science organized READY STEADY GROW at preview theatre on December 28th 2022. The event was totally takeover by Rtr Irraianbu,emcee for the event and Rtr Nithin,DJ for the event.The event is full of learning with fun activities . Rotaractors enjoyes a with gained good morals.


decorated the whole Christmas tree from the scratch with waste resources

On the account of Christmas , the Rotaract club of SA College of arts and science decorated the whole Christmas tree from the scratch with waste resources in the view of eco friendly on December 8th 2022. By decorating the Christmas tree we learnt team building and as always more fun and friendship.


celebrated christamas with special children

on the occasion of Christmas , the Rotaract club of SA College of arts and science celebrated christamas with special children by visiting  SAMARPANAM on 24th December 2022 with Uvagai foundation. We distribuited many toys , rice and snacks to them as Christmas gift. We conducted some games to them to them happy . Seeing them happy fullfills our heart with great pleasure.


WALK4DYSLEXIA

The Rotararct Club of SA College of Arts and Science participated WALK4DYSLEXIA organized by Rotary Club of Chennai Utsav in Besant nagar beach,near police booth on 6th November 2022.The participants wore Red dress code for standing with dyslexian people. The event was started by Dr C Sylendra Babu IPS – DGP/HoPF Tamilnadu by 7:00 AM. Every participants got certificates for participations. Nearly 50 rotaractors were participated in this event.


HUG Ryla Programme

HUG Ryla Programme is a 2-day event happened exclusively for the Rotaractors.

The HUG RYLA 

Rotaract Club of Ambattur and Rotaract Club of SA College of Arts and Science sponsored by Rotary Club of Ambattur and Rotaract club of Agni College of engineering sponsored by Rotary Club of meenambakkam organized the HUG RYLA on 29th & 30th of October 2022 in SA College of Arts and Science.

There are 22 Rylarians and 16 organizers from our SA College of Arts and science.

This Ryla shattered everyone’s shyness and built confidence level and improved network. Everyone had very interactive sessions .And finally the RYLA ended at 5.00 p.m. At the end of the day everyone left the ryla with tears in the eyes and bundles of memories with heart.
