Dr. V. Raghu Raman, Vice President of FAI and Head of the Advisory Board at IAAC, honored the event as the esteemed chief guest, delivering insightful perspectives on corporate leadership. In his illuminating discourse, he expounded on the 3 Cs of leadership and diverse approaches to corporate leadership. Visionary Leaders were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field. Students participated in enriching discussions and presentations, delving into the latest trends in the industry. Inaugurate The Anti -Narcotics Cell & Awareness Program on 12.03.2024

The Department of Corporate Secretaryship, under the aegis of The Corporate Governance Professional Association, marked a significant milestone on March 12, 2024, with the inauguration of the Anti-Narcotic Cell. Dr. A. Venkatesh Babu, IRS Deputy Commissioner of the Indian Customs & IT Services, Government of India, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of raising awareness and promoting a resolute stance against drug abuse, urging individuals to say no to drugs. This initiative underscores a concerted effort towards fostering a drug-free environment.

The Corporate Governance Professionals’ Association under the aegis of Department Of Corporate Secretaryship, celebrated Global Information Governance Day on February 29th, 2024 at 9.30am in SACAS CG Lab, with a series of  INTER-COLLEGIATE events aimed at promoting corporate excellence and responsible business practices. These events included Case Study Analysis and paper presentation event motive to impact on ethics , leadership & analyse the business problems in both financial and decision making. The enthusiastic participation of numerous students showcased their keen interest in these subjects and their commitment to the ideals of corporate governance. The winners of these events were recognized and awarded certificates for their outstanding achievements, marking a successful commemoration of this significant occasion.

The Students Knowledge Transformation Study Circle #8, hosted by the Corporate Governance Professional Association  under the aegis of  Department of Corporate Secretaryship on February 13th, 2024, at 12.30 PM. III B.Com Corporate Secretaryship students led discussions on pivotal topics such as  Climate Finance and Green Investments as well as Insight on What Went Wrong – An Analysis of Paytm Payment Bank.. Attendees actively participated, engaging in insightful exchanges and discussions. Overall, the event provided an enriching learning platform, fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange among participants.

The insightful session delved into the intricate realms of the Psychology of Consumer Behaviour hosted by M.Kiruthiga Sri and P.S. Karunya Deva Gnanam & Introduction to Marketing hosted by S.Prem Kumar and S.Ulaganathan. They demonstrated commendable expertise in their respective fields. The occasion was marked by an engaging and enriching exchange of knowledge, leaving all participants with a sense of newfound understanding and appreciation. The Department looks forward to organizing more such enlightening sessions in the future.
