Tech Club, joined hands with the Motivational Club to joyously observed "Global Hug Your Kids Day" on July 15, 2024, at Sudharsanam Vidyaashram School at 8 a.m. The event underscored the profound impact of hugs in fostering affection, trust, and security within families. Initiated by dedicated students, this outreach aimed to encourage parents to embrace their children with love and warmth, creating cherished memories that strengthen familial bonds. The organizing team expressed heartfelt appreciation to parents for their enthusiastic participation in making the day truly memorable.

Empowering Youth through Skills: World Youth Skill Day at S.A. College of Arts & Science On July 15, 2024, the Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals, and SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club, in collaboration with the Motivational Club, organized an Inter-Department Competition titled "Youth Skills For Peace and Development" to commemorate World Youth Skill Day. Held on the SACAS campus from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., the event featured speech, poster, and essay writing competitions involving twenty students from various departments. Participants expressed enthusiasm, noting the event as a transformative experience that boosted their confidence and encouraged future participation. The competition provided a valuable platform for showcasing and nurturing student talents.

Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals along with SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club  S.A.COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE, Renowned “World Population Day” on 11th July 2024 from 07.45 a.m. to 08.45 a.m. at S.A. College of Arts & Science and Students Created Awareness about the “Impact of over Population” on the environment by forming Human chain from Sudharsanam Vidyaashram School to S.A. Engineering College Gate., a total of 174 students involved in this Human Chain Formation holding creative placards with creative slogans reflected as an awareness to the public regarding the population and made them visualize and react.

This program is organized for the students to help them to enhance their talent. The students enthusiastically participated in the event, using their efforts to paint various designs on charts. This helps people of all kinds to understand the knowledge and effects of the excess population. This encouraged our students to create a Wonderful Experience.

Tech Club S.A.COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCE, in Association with Heartfulness educational trust (HELM), Organizes 30 hours certificate program on Yoga and Meditation on 19th June 2024, between 2.00 p.m. to 05.00 p.m. in SACAS preview Theatre.


SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club, Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) Farewell Day Celebration held on 24.04.2024

Faculty members, staff, and fellow students delivered heartfelt speeches and acknowledgments, reflecting on the journey of the graduating students throughout their time at the college. Cultural Performances*As a gesture of happiness the Outgoing Students sponsored a Epson All in One Color Printer for the Department. Mr. Mukesh Kumar of III Year A&F wrote a book and is going to publish - *All about Investing - Let the Money Work for you* the book was released during the farewell. *3 copies of the book was handed over to central library of our college. In return the department of A&F handed over plant saplings to the outgoing students to remember the dept. & college. And few saplings were planted by the students in SACAS Campus as best practice of the dept. At the end of the day it was Photo Gallery and Memory Lane session. We thank our management for spontaneous support.

CBP - Capacity Building Program on "GST Filing" Held at SACAS. SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals, in collaboration with SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club and Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), S. A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS), organized a Capacity Building Program titled "GST Filing" on March 14, 2024, from 09:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at CG Lab SACAS. The event aimed to enhance participants' understanding of GST regulations. Ms. V. Jayashree (III B.Com A&F) served as the peer-team learning scholar, delivering insights on GST history, slab rates, registration procedures, ITC, and reverse charge mechanism. She also provided a live demonstration of GST filing through the portal and stressed the significance of internships and professional courses. The program concluded with a robust Q&A session, where 82 participants from SA College of Arts & Science clarified their doubts. The event proved instrumental in empowering attendees with practical knowledge of GST filing procedures.

College of Arts & Science, in collaboration with SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals and SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club, organized FINCLAVE - an insightful session on navigating the corporate world with HR Managers. Held on March 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the CG Lab, the event featured esteemed speakers including Mr. B. Ajaya Kumar, Head of HR & General Affairs, who emphasized interview etiquettes and body language. Mr. M. Krishnamoorthy, Assistant Manager - HR, shared golden rules of interviews through a captivating case study. Mr. M. Thalavai highlighted the importance of focus and development, while Mr. Maheswaran discussed employee incentives and skill enhancement.

"A Hand of Kindness" on 3.2.2024

On 03/02/2024, Department of Accounting & Finance of S. A. College of Arts and Science organised an outreach programme  "A Hand of Kindness", to Institute of Child Health(ICH), Egmore, Chennai, as kind gesture for childrens who are suffering from cancer by providing them few needful materials (diapers, blankets, towels, tiffin boxes).


An Intercollegiate event “QUANTUM QUASAR” on 13.10.2023

The Department of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), SACAS Association of Accounting & Finance Professionals along with SACAS'ians Fin. Tech Club of S.A.College of Arts & Science. A remarkable intercollegiate event QUANTUM QUASAR, was successfully organized and held on the SACAS campus on October 13, 2023. The sheer number of 450 students and almost 50 colleges taking part in 11 competitions *WORDLESS WONDERS, PROFESSIONAL PATHWAY, RHYTHMIC, FUSION, COMEDY CARNIVAL, ARTISTIC FACESO, FLAMELESS FOOD, BEAUTY BRUSH, COLOUR OF TRADITION, ECOCRAF and VENTURA* was astounding. The event coordinators had everything organized perfectly in an independent space for the competitions. Every competition was rated a score out of 25. Determined by the judges' average points, the winning and runner-up teams received trophies and certificates, while all other competitors received certificates only for participating. A trophy for the overall championship was given to the college that won the most first place in various competitions. The guests and faculty of the host college added color to the capstone ceremony.
