The School of Management in association Business Standard organized “Melange’24” Mela of Management on 15/03/2024 . The Honourable Correspondent of the college Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, Mr.Ravindran.A.L,General Manager,SIDBI, Mr.Saravanan Thinagarasamy, Senior Vice President- People’Prochant India Pvt Ltd and Mr.Jayaraman.S, Dy.General Manager,Business Standards graced the occasion. The programme started with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. Dr. Viji.R, Director, School of Management delivered the welcome address, presidential address was delivered by Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh R aja. The special addresses were delivered by Director,Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, Inaugural address by , Mr.Ravindran.A.L, General Manager, SIDBI, Mr.Saravanan Thinagarasamy, Senior Vice President- People’Prochant India Pvt Ltd. 416 students from 37 colleges participated in 7 events which include The strategist, Speechless sensation, Adzania, Step it up, Bulls and Bears & Pitch starter, Thought Rattle. The Guest for the Valedictory session Mr.E.Yoganathan, Assistant Marketing manager Malabar Gold and Diamonds certificates were issued to Winners and participants. Winners and runners were awarded Cash Prize. The overall Winner trophy was awarded to Rajalakshmi College and runners trophy was awarded to Sindhi College.

The Department of Mathematics at S.A College of Arts & Science, in collaboration with the Mathelets club, marked PI DAY-2024 on March 14, 2024, with an exhilarating Intra-Collegiate Event. The occasion commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Dr. S. Prathap, HoD of Mathematics. The event featured engaging competitions including Mehndi with Math, Pencil Art, Math Connections, and Paper Presentation, attracting a total of 75 teams. Participants showcased their creativity and mathematical prowess, fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration. The winners and runners-up were honored with shields and certificates by the esteemed Correspondent Thiru. P. Venkatesh Raja, acknowledging their outstanding contributions. The event received staunch support from Correspondent, the Director Dr. V. Inaugurate The Anti -Narcotics Cell & Awareness Program on 12.03.2024
The Department of Corporate Secretaryship, under the aegis of The Corporate Governance Professional Association, marked a significant milestone on March 12, 2024, with the inauguration of the Anti-Narcotic Cell. Dr. A. Venkatesh Babu, IRS Deputy Commissioner of the Indian Customs & IT Services, Government of India, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Color Grading Workshop on 09.03.2024
S. A. College of Arts & Science hosted a Color Grading Workshop, drawing in students and faculty members from various disciplines. Led by DI Colorist Karthik Chandrasekar, the workshop delved into the intricate art of color manipulation techniques. Attendees, comprising budding filmmakers, graphic designers, and visual storytelling enthusiasts, gathered on March 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to enhance their skills and understanding of color grading. The event, organized by the Department of Visual Communication, aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience and insights into the nuances of color grading in the realm of visual arts. Participants expressed enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunity to learn from industry expert Karthik Chandrasekar, highlighting the event's value in furthering their expertise in the field of visual communication.

As a part of International Women's day celebration, Rotaract Club of S.A. College of Arts & Science Sponsored By Rotary Club of Ambattur (RID - 3232) coordinated one day *Walkathon - walk for your dream* organized by *Suryan FM 93.5* at Island Ground, Chennai on 10/3/24. 43 Rotaract students came coordinated Walkathon activities. “The idea is to celebrate sisterhood and create a safe environment where women don't feel watched. When better than Women's Day to achieve that?” shares Anoushka Jain, founder, Enroute Indian History, adding, “Exploring heritage via such walks helps women reclaim the city where they live." We would like extend our gratitude towards Principal mam, Director mam and Correspondent sir for giving this opportunity.

Tech Club, organized FINCLAVE - an insightful session on navigating the corporate world with HR Managers. Held on March 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the CG Lab, the event featured esteemed speakers including Mr. B. Ajaya Kumar, Head of HR & General Affairs, who emphasized interview etiquettes and body language. Mr. M. Krishnamoorthy, Assistant Manager - HR, shared golden rules of interviews through a captivating case study. Mr. M. Thalavai highlighted the importance of focus and development, while Mr. Maheswaran discussed employee incentives and skill enhancement.

M, associate professor of Department of Accounting and finance, Patrician college of arts and science has qualified with M. Com , M.Phil. Ph.D. and NET in Commerce and had over 14 years of experience under the accounting field. She has attended various seminars and conferences like reforms in the globalized: New vistas , intellectual property rights etc. She has involved in career enrichment courses like NPTEL, annual refresher course etc. . In this session she has explained how brands have become more famous and ruling in the market. She has taken up the example of Zomato to explain the business model canvas. She has highlighted the Zomato cost structure, online business, channels under business etc.

College of Arts & Science in association with IIC organize an "IIC CALENDER ACTIVITY " Session on “SUCCESS STORY OF AN ENTREPRENEUR.” This session was held on 6th March 2024 at TF12, SACAS between 12.00 PM TO 1.30 PM.The speaker of the program, Dr.T. VAIDEGI, Associate professor and Department of Commerce from Patrician college of Arts and Science. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She worked in the Ministry of Education. She taught many Business ideas, methods, techniques, and concepts in Entrepreneurship. The program was attended by the faculties as well as students. Totally sixty-six students participated and understand the ideas of “SUCCESS STORY OF AN ENTREPRENEUR.”
