Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence organized Manam Moi Mai – Way To AI and fresher’s day celebrations on 14.09.2024

The Department of Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence is excited to welcome all students to an insightful and enlightening session as part of our department’s fresher’s day celebrations. We are honoured to host a guest lecture by Dr. B. Damodaran, Advocate and Trainer in Soft Skills, on the theme “Manam, Mozhi, Mai: The Way to AI.”

This unique lecture aims to explore the growing field of Artificial Intelligence, drawing parallels with Tamil and Indian philosophical concepts of Manam (thought), Mozhi (language), and Mai (body/truth). These three elements form the essence of human existence, and AI’s advancements are now reaching remarkable milestones, particularly in the domain of Mozhi—language processing and understanding.

Language, or Mozhi, has long been a fundamental component in human communication, and today, AI has achieved a level of proficiency in this area that has transformed how we interact with machines and technology. However, the realms of Manam (thought) and Mai (body/truth) are still developing, with exciting research and vast potential for further breakthroughs. These dimensions of AI offer immense possibilities for future innovation.

This event aims to motivate our students to be proactive, inspiring them to delve deeper into the ever-evolving landscape of AI. We encourage all attendees to engage in this discussion, where culture and technology intersect, and explore the profound impact AI will have on human thought, language, and existence.

Join us for an enriching session that promises to broaden your understanding of AI’s limitless potential!
