SACAS Hosts 1st State-Level Inter-Schools Staff Tournament

S.A. College Arts & Science’s Department of Physical Education successfully organized the SACAS 1st State Level Inter-Schools Staff Tournament, “Unity Sports Carnival,” showcasing remarkable teamwork and sportsmanship.

The event commenced with an inauguration by the esteemed Director, Dr. V. Sayi Satyavathi, and the beloved Principal, Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar, who launched the Women’s Staff Throwball Match. The Men’s Staff Tennis Ball Cricket Match was inaugurated by Dr. S. Ganapathy, HoD of B.Com. CS, while Dr. R. Srinivasan, HoD of B.Sc. Vis Com, distributed prizes to the winners.

Special thanks were extended to the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja for his unwavering support, along with the Physical Education staff, Visual Communication Department, sports volunteers, and non-teaching staff, whose contributions were instrumental in the event’s success. The participation of sports students as umpires ensured fair play and professionalism.

The tournament celebrated unity and sportsmanship, leaving a lasting impact on all attendees.
