Day – I – Report
ED week Day 1, 22.08.2022
The students of ED Cell at SACAS have organised a series of programs for our college, on commemorating World Entrepreneurship Development Day, in association with our college’s Institution Innovation Council and used this opportunity to welcome our first year students into college life. The 1st session kick-started with the most inspiring journey of entrepreneurship by Mr. Prasanna Venkatesh, The Co Founder of Madras Coffee House followed by the sharing of the experiences by Mr. M. Kumaravelan, The Founder of Madras Coffee House. Their speech threw light on the need to be confident and move on in life by facing challenges that come our way and not be quitters. The second session of the day was spearheaded by Mrs. Salma Founder Tinytots who is also life coach with remarkable counseling skills. She blended her thorny entrepreneurship journey with her postive approch to problem solving without losing focus on the goals. This highly informative and interactive session was a run-away hit with our first year students. Looking forward to more such learning on the days to come!!Yeah & three cheers to college life!!!




Day – 2 – Report
ED week Day 2, 23.08.2022
Session-1
Mr. Rumesh Shankar- Management consultant & Leadership coach
He addressed the students and spoke about Jugaad and creativity in solving real life problems. The speakers gave us the opportunity to interact during the session and explained to them how entrepreneurs think before arriving at a solution to a problem they have identified.
Session-2
Mr. Nijanthan – Founder Elika Dairy Products
He also addressed the participants on the ideation process and selecting the best idea to build products or services. He talked about how the design thinking process can help entrepreneurs to get a clear picture of the problem they identified and how to convert that into a viable business idea. He shared examples of start-up founders who used this method to address their
challenges in business.







Day – 3 – Report
ED week Day 3, 24.08.2022
Mr. Rumesh Shankar addressed the participants on how to identify ideas and he conveyed to the audience how the solutions to pertinent problems can be a great idea to start a venture. Mr. Archith addressed the participants on the various stages involved in setting up an enterprise. On this day, ten different college students from various parts of Chennai participated and presented their business plans. After the presentation, the prize will be distributed by the college Principal, Director, and both the chief guests based on the performance and presentation. The students of ED cell honoured our chief guest.

ED week Day 4, 25.08.2022
Mr. Sesha M Sai – Agripreneur & Social Entrepreneur
Sir addressed the participants on the ideation process and selecting the best idea to build products or services. He talked about how the design thinking process can help entrepreneurs to get a clear picture of the problem they identified and how to convert that into a viable business idea.

Mr. Abin Pushpakara – Managing Director of Blu Academy
Both are addressed to the participants on the ideation process and selecting the best idea to build products or services especially in the field of music instruments and sound engineering. They talked about how the music thinking process can help entrepreneurs to get a clear picture of the problem they identified and how to convert that into a viable business idea.

Day – 5 – Report
ED week Day 5, 26.08.2022
1. Mr. CK Kumarvel – Founder of Naturals
He has motivated the participants in his speech on how to succeed in everyone’s life. He talked about how people learn day by day through video and audio with a thinking process that can help entrepreneurs to get a clear picture of the problem they identified and how to convert that into a viable business idea. He started with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s quotes and ended with them. He said through minds and ideas you can approach entrepreneurs. Competition will be a successful reason for every life.
The programme ended with a Question and Answer session.

They discussed how people can help society by solving difficult problems and turning them into business ideas. He approached with live videos of shelter homes. The programme ended with a Question and Answer session.
