Dr. V. Raghu Raman, Vice President of FAI and Head of the Advisory Board at IAAC, honored the event as the esteemed chief guest, delivering insightful perspectives on corporate leadership. In his illuminating discourse, he expounded on the 3 Cs of leadership and diverse approaches to corporate leadership. Visionary Leaders were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the field. Students participated in enriching discussions and presentations, delving into the latest trends in the industry. The occasion stood as a testament to the unwavering commitment to excellence in corporate governance.

Athichudi Ilakkiya Thedal Literary Event on 03.04.2024

S.A. College of Arts & Science Sri Krishna Sweets Organize "Athichudi Ilakkiya Thedal" Literary Event for Students The Department of Tamil at S.A. College of Arts & Science, in collaboration with Sri Krishna Sweets, Ilakkiya Koodal, and Hamsathvani, organized a literary event titled "Athichudi Ilakkiya Thedal" for students on April 3, 2024. The event, which focused on the exploration of Athichudi, a classic Tamil text, was held at 11:00 a.m. in the college auditorium. Dr. Manimegalai Siddharth, a renowned orator and television personality, served as the special guest of honor. The college correspondent, Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. Sayi Satyavathi, and Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakkumar presided over the event. Mr. K. Mani, Secretary of Ilakkiya Koodal, played a key role in coordinating the event. Mr. M. Vijayakumar, Head of the Department of Tamil, delivered the welcome address, while Mrs. R. Reka Mani, President of Ilakkiya Koodal, provided the introductory speech. Dr. Manimegalai Siddharth's speech, titled "What is Love?", explored the multifaceted nature of love using various examples and references, likely drawing connections to the themes found in Athichudi. The event was a resounding success, effectively fostering literary interest among the students, particularly in the rich classical Tamil text of Athichudi.

A Two Days International conference (sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) on 27.03.2024 & 28.03.2024

The International conference hosted by the School of Commerce, S.A. College of Arts & Science and sponsored by ICSSR on March, 27th & March 28th 2024  featured insightful technical panel discussions. On 27th March 2024  Mr. Libinus Xavier precisely elucidated the factors driving the rejuvenation of health tourism with AI, while Mr. J. Saravanan shared valuable insights into AI tools in digital marketing. Additionally, Mr. P. Rajkumar offered his understanding of how AI is shaping retail through insights into shopper behavior, and Dr. Malani Sathappan shared knowledge on the integration of AI in HR practices.On 28th March 2024 session continued the explanation  of with Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin exploring the dichotomy of AI in psychological security and Mr. Md. Akram Basha providing precise insights into using data & AI to solve business problems. Dr. K. Ravi then elucidated the various aspects of culture and AI, highlighting a paradigm shift, while Mr. Shunder Kumar expounded on the role of aggregators utilizing AI.

This interdepartmental extravaganza witnessed students from diverse disciplines engaging in a series of competitions ranging from eloquent storytelling to quick-witted word jumbles. Competitions included "Mic's All Yours," "Picture A Poem," "Story Writing," "Word Jumble," "Pictionary," "Talk Show," "Impromptu," "Tongue Twisters," "Lit Quiz," "Spell Bee," and "Art Gallery." From the gripping narratives of "Story Writing" to the creative expressions in "Art Gallery," participants left no stone unturned to exhibit their English proficiency. With fervent enthusiasm and competitive spirit, the event exemplified the college's commitment to nurturing multifaceted talent beyond academic realms.

Intercollegiate SPOT FETZ 2K24 Men Tournament on 20.03.2024 to 22.03.2024

SACAS Hosts Successful Intercollegiate SPOT FETZ 2K24 Men Tournament S.A. College of Arts & Science, under the banner of its Department of Physical Education, organised a thrilling debut of the 1st Men's Intercollegiate SPOT FETZ 2K24 tournament. Spanning from March 20th to 22nd, 2024, the event showcased talents in Tennisball Cricket, Chess, Carom, and Table Tennis. Across three exhilarating days, the tournament attracted 18 teams for Tennisball Cricket, 18 Carom players, 10 Table Tennis contestants, and 28 Chess enthusiasts from diverse academic institutions. SACAS emerged victorious in Chess and Carom, securing notable positions in Table Tennis and Tennisball Cricket. The success of the event was indebted to the guidance of the Correspondent Mr. P. Venkatesh Raja, Director Dr. Sai Satyavathi, and Principal Dr. Malathi Selvakumar, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
